Guide

New to buying Collector’s Cache sets? This guide walks you through an order from start to finish, explains the ways you can pay, and covers the Steam rules that shape how every set is delivered.

How ordering works

Create your account

Sign up with your email and add the link to your public Steam profile. That is how we know where to deliver – we never ask for your Steam login.

Choose your sets

Browse the shop and add the sets you want to your cart. Every set shows its price for each payment method, so you know exactly what you will pay.

Pay the way you prefer

Pick a payment method at checkout and follow the steps shown on your order page.

Add us on Steam

Steam only allows gifts between friends, so add our Steam profile – you will find it on the Contact page. If we are already friends, you are all set.

We approve your order

We confirm your payment by hand. Once your order is approved, your sets are reserved just for you and Steam’s 30-day cooldown begins. You can follow it from your account.

Your sets arrive

When the cooldown ends, we send your sets as a Steam gift to the profile on your order and email you to let you know. Open Dota 2 to accept your gift.

Ways to pay

Prices differ slightly between payment methods, because each one carries its own fees and costs. The price for every method is shown on each set before you order.

Steam gifting rules, explained

Collector’s Cache sets follow Valve’s rules for gifts. They are the same for every seller, and knowing them makes it clear why delivery works the way it does.

  • Not tradable or marketable. Apart from each cache’s Ultra Rare, Collector’s Cache sets cannot be traded or sold on the Steam Community Market. They can only be gifted – and only once.
  • Friends for 30 days. A gift can only be sent to someone who has been on the sender’s friends list for at least 30 days, with Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator turned on for both accounts. Without the authenticator, Steam asks for a much longer friendship.
  • Gifted while still packed. Sets are gifted as a sealed bundle. Once a set has been opened, it usually cannot be gifted again.
  • Yours to keep. A set you receive as a gift is yours to keep and use. In most cases it cannot be traded, sold or passed on again.
  • A daily limit. Steam limits how many gifts one account can send each day, so a very large order may arrive over more than one day.

This is also why we never need your Steam login: a gift only ever needs your public Steam profile.
